In his speech, President Museveni said that Africa is rich in natural resources and enjoys a pleasant climate. He is pleased to see China's contribution to the infrastructure and industrialization of Ukraine. Two hydropower plants built by Chinese companies have doubled the power generation capacity of Ukraine. Chinese-funded enterprises will also undertake the construction of the Uganda Railway project, all of which have helped Uganda reduce its business costs. President Museveni believes that the return on investment in Africa is higher than in Europe and other regions and is an ideal place for investors. The Uzbek government should vigorously attract investors from all countries, including China, and will also strengthen communication with the Chinese embassy in Ukraine. Ambassador Zheng reviewed the practical cooperation between China and Uzbekistan in the fields of industrialization and infrastructure construction in recent years, and introduced the contribution of Chinese-funded enterprises to Uzbekistan in expanding employment, balancing the trade deficit and improving the business environment. To the progress of the Central Umbale Industrial Park. Ambassador Zheng said that this year is a great year for Sino-African relations. In the witness of President Museveni and Zheng Zhu's powerful envoys, Ronghui Investment Co., Ltd. and Hebei Xinhang Tower Technology Co., Ltd. respectively signed an entry agreement with Tiantang Group, involving heavy steel structures and industrial steel structures , Paper packaging and printing, various transmission and transformation power towers, communication towers and cement products, etc., with a total investment of nearly 210 million US dollars.
After the signing ceremony, President Museveni talked with Zhang Zhigang, Chairman of Tiantang Group, and Yang Fei, General Manager of Xinhang Technology, and said that the tower project is of great significance to the development of Uganda's power transmission and welcomes Xinhang Technology to invest and develop in Ukraine. At the forum, more than 100 companies from China and Ukraine also negotiated investment cooperation intentions. Many powerful companies docked with Tiantang Group and expressed strong interest in entering the park.
The groundbreaking ceremony of the Central Umbala Industrial Park was held in March this year. The President of Uganda was invited to attend and unveil the park. Up to now, the park has signed the entry agreement with dozens of enterprises, and 3 enterprises will start construction before the end of the year.
